Context (Analysis)
Four strands tied together with object being c.145cm in length. Dominantly white Anadara beads but with some sections where dark seed beads alternate and other small (c.1.5 - 2cm) zones of red (Chama pacifica) shell beads. The beads are well used, and are a mix of beads made together on the same strand, and intermixed beads of different sizes. Unlike many Anadara beads, these are generally well-ground around the periphery, with many also showing rounding of the edges from extensive use.
