Leg ornament - [From catalogue card:] 'Leg ornament (songo). [added later:] 'Small white shell rings loosely threaded on a plaited string. Worn round the knee'. [From catalogue card 2:] 'Leg ornament, worn around the knee by men. It consists of a number of clam shell discs perforated and strung on string of native fibre.'
