Description

Fragment of a cast copper alloy buckle with 'D' shaped frame. Part of the circular cross-sectioned bar survives. The front edge has two rounded cone-shaped bosses directed away from the centre which is wrapped in a grooved sheet copper alloy roller. Pin missing.

Description (Physical description)
A fragment of a bronze buckle of the oval frame with ornate outside edge type. The outside edge protrudes at the sides and the sheet roller has parallel incised lines along its length. It is broken at its offset bar and the pin is missing.
