Found unlabelled in a box with three other unnumbered scrolls. The old box list noted there were 11 scrolls in total which required conservation before unrolling but there were 13, of which 10 were actually numbered Z 36797 A-J

Description (Physical description)
Zilan Wang notes that the Han Chinese script (the first section of the scroll) states: 'Jiaqing [period of reign] 11, 15th of the 6th month of the Chinese lunar calendar [Wednesday 30 July 1806]. The Emperor asks the Lama painter who works for the Zhong Zheng Dian temple in the Forbidden City to worship through painting [i.e. to paint] the image of Wu Liang Shou Fo [Amida Buddha]. This Buddha has different names in Tibetan, Manchu and Mongolian.'
