Description
Cast copper alloy small long brooch with square headplate with two outward curving horns protruding from the top two corners and raised rectangular central panel. Truncated arched bow with rectangular section areas at the top and bottom; two square lappets. Pin bar lug and catchplate intact; iron corrosion around pin bar lugs.

Michael J Cuddeford found this material during the mid 1990s during metal detecting in West Wickham. It has been registered with the Portable Antiquities Scheme and gifted to MAA. Description (Physical description)
An almost complete small long type Anglo Saxon, bronze brooch. There are traces of iron remaining on the back from the iron spring hinge though this and the pin are missing. The brooch is broken with the foot missing.
