Description (CMS Description)
Collection of faience sherds of assorted colours. The shape of many of the sherds suggest that they formed part of a vessel. Here they are listed by colour: Cobalt blue - 6 sherds in total, 2 rim sherds and 4 body sherds. Dark Green - 7 sherds in total, 1 rim sherd and 6 body sherds. 3 of the body sherds have faint black paint underneath the glaze. Beige Green - 7 body sherds with smooth interior and textured, knobbly exterior surface. Turquoise blue - 11 sherds in total, 1 rim sherd, 1 handle fragment, 8 body sherds and 1 sherd with strange shape and burned area that may have been damaged during firing. Mustard yellow - 2 sherds total with faint black paint underneath the glaze.
