Context (Amendments / updates)
An object matching this description and measurements was found marked 'Z 39507'. The accession register for Z 39507 is very vague, reading only 'looped pin' and 'No provenance'. It seems, therefore, that the pin lost its original accession number and was reaccessioned later as Z 39507. The information from the 1911.222 record has therefore been transferred across to the record for Z 39507, and the accession numbers added to the Id No field. The duplicate record has been deleted.
