Description

Waistband; Belt - [From catalogue card:] 'Waist band of clam shell beads in different colours. There is a middle brooch of beads and teeth of the flying fox. On either side of this is a strand of five strings of beads. The different parts are separated by turtle shell disks. One end is also continued beyond a clam shell disk in a different design ending in two strands of beads with a tooth of some animal at the end protruding from a half nut shell'.
