Context (Amendments / updates)
When this accession number was transferred to the museum from Oriental Studies, it was originally assumed that the objects came from Egypt, as did most of the other objects. However, until they can be more securely given a location, several likely possibility have been included in the Place field.

Female figure with elaborate hairstyle or headdress. She wears a long grament wrapped around her body indicated by incised diagonal lines. Long tassel or fold on left side of garment from her shoulder to her knee. Front of figure is roughly moulded, back is hand finished.
