Forehead or chest ornament formed of a disc of white shell pierced, in its centre, to which a disc of turtle shell carved in openwork is fastened with cotton string. The ornament is attached to a finely woven band of red orchid fibre. The discs of shell and turtle shell are both heavily chipped.
