Although this object has a 1931 accession number, it was added retrospectively in 1940/1941 to the accessions register entry for 1931.445 A: a currency bar from a different site and from a different source. The added entry lists the source as 'Execs. of E.W. Kendall via Mrs. H. O'Neil'.

Salmondsbury [sic] Hoard.
Identified in 1965, from drawings and records, by Derek Allen. They are not from Ham Hill [as was thought when they were associated with 1931.445 A], but from the Salmondsbury [sic] Hoard, Bourton-on-the-Water, and formed part of the collection of E.W. Kendall, of Bourton-on-the-Water. They were presented to the Museum by the Kendall family c 1941-42 through (bio), female collector, Mrs H.E. O' Neil.
