Context (Other owners)
The Kath!vatthu ('Points of Controversy'), a canonical Buddhist treatise belonging to the Abhidhamma collection. The text refures the 500 points that were raised against Theravada Buddhism. It was allegedly written by a monk named Mogaliputta Tissa, in the city of Pataliputra (Patna) in India during the reign of King Ashoka (269-232 BCE). Donated by E.H. Minns Given by H.
