Context (Amendments / updates)
Two short strips and the pillar ornament were separated from the rest of the idno and, at a presumably later date, reaccessioned as part of 1994.90. They were matched up to 1955.344 D using the Kenyon's description and illustration and are now marked with both idnos. 1994.90 has therefore also been added to the MAA Number field.

Context (Amendments / updates)
Seven fragments of decorated bone were mistakenly accessioned in 1994 as Medieval or Saxon 'fragments of bone comb and anthropomorphic figures' from '?British Isles; ?England'. They were later correctly identified as pieces of bone inlay from a wooden box excavated at Jericho, part of 1955.334 A-E. The identification was supported by Kathleen Kenyon's description and illustration.
