Part of a group of objects, (2005.629-49), bought, bartered or received as a gift through the intermediary of the collectors' extended family. Mimi Suku made all 5 of these flutes (2005.639-2005.643) on request. Their manufacture was documented and a full explanation of the contexts of their use was given in Wayana by Mimi Siku. Text currently in translation.
