Description
Weyu. Beaded waist apron. Single trapeze length of fabric; narrow white waistband with twisted ties at both sides. Light and dark blue, woven bead work with red glass beaded border; two white horizontal beaded strips with a narrow red and white strip in the centre; white beaded geometrical forms. Two blue strips made from small glass beads with a strip of red bigger glass beads are at the bottom followed by cotton fringes.

Made by Mimi-Suku's wife [not named]. The mara-mara seed apron is not valued as highly as glass-bead aprons by the Trio or Wayana: the latter bring higher prestige to their owner, allow for more intricate designs, and last considerably longer.

Description (Physical description)
The colours used are red, white, bright blue and dull blue. The meandering designs are done on a bright blue background. The edges are red and there are a few red horizontal lines. The dull blue beads are arranged in red and dull blue lines.
