Dark brown plant fibre armband plaited in horizontal twill with two rows of lighter fibre forming large zigzag motif; fibre fringe along join on one side.

Collected during the Daniels Ethnographical Expedition to British New Guinea, led by Major William Cooke Daniels and Dr. Charles Seligman, accompanied by Dr. Walter Mersh Strong and Mr A.H. Dunning, 1903-1904.

The expedition visited Waima from 3 to 10 June 1904.
