Context (CMS Context)
This work by Tjungurrayi (Joey Helicopter) (1946-) is of a major male Balgo artist and medicine man. A powerful translation of his exuberant brightly coloured painting style, said to be inspired by the ripples in the sand around water soaks in the desert, into a sharp and potent linear black and white print.
