Labels & inscriptions: an old label glued to the bottom of the blade reads [printed:] ‘Lot 80’. An old label with cut corner and internal blue border reads: ‘Paddle / Ysabel Is.’ In brown ink. An old museum label glued to the shaft reads: ‘E. 1907.592. / Paddle / (Ysabel) / Solomon Is. / (Bt Steven’s, Lond., 1907) / * Professor Bevan, 1907’. ‘Z 7041’ inscribed in black ink on the upper part of the shaft.
