Description (CMS Description)
Tridacna shell ring; white in colour with a smooth surface and yellow adductor muscle stain on a small section where the shell has fractured off at the edge. Linear striations from grinding are visible on the surface. The cross section is roughly rectangular with a rounded convex interior. [Heather Donoghue 29.05.2012]
