Context (CMS Context)
The Annual Report for 1916 notes for AR 1916.293-296 (with individual suffixes) was collected by the late Rev. F.H. Drew, M.A., Oxon, and presented by his mother, Mrs Drew. Drew was part of the Melanesia Mission, and the notice of his death recorded him as the 'missionary at the Solomon Islands [who] died on the way to Maravoru Hospital in 1915.' (See Northern Advocate , 13 March 1915, Page 5)

Not all of the Drew collection appears to have been entered into the 1915 Register, only the Blue Book (BB) and the Annual Report. Accession numbers have been entered variously using these two numbers with E prefixes.

Trochus shell armlet, white in colour and decorated with a repeated pattern of incised horizontal triangles separated by two vertical incised lines with smaller lines either side of each triangle.
