Context (Amendments / updates)
This is likely to be the same image as the untitled drawing (woman with a cross) print in the National Gallery of Australia (ref: 2005.222.340) which forms part of the collection of Ulli Beier (1922-2011) and his wife Georgina Beier (born 1938). They lived and taught in Papua New Guinea 1967-1971, where they encouraged and facilitated the production of artworks such as this. That was purchased by the National Gallery of Australia, from Ulli and Georgina Beier, Sydney, April 2005
