Description (Physical description)
Wooden male figure/doll rubbed with red pigment. The hair is made of dyed plant fibre and is short at the front and longer at the back. There is also a zip incorporated in the doll’s hair. The doll is wearing a headdress made out of a leather strap. The eyes are rendered by two beads and the ears and nose are carved into the wood. The doll is wearing numerous rows of beaded necklaces. From chin to shoulders these include two yellow necklaces of which one is broken, six red necklaces and five orange necklaces. A piece of clothing made of hide and decorated with red, blue, white, green yellow and bigger light blue beads covers the upper body of the doll. The doll is wearing a belt made of seeds and red, white and green beads. A V-shaped apron covers the front part of the doll and is decorated with large white, blue, red, and yellow beads. The back of the lower part of the doll’s baody is covered with a rectangular hide apron which is decorated with rows of red, yellow, light blue and orange beads. The doll is wearing a metal bangle at each foot.

'The doll is made of wood rubbed with red pigment. The hair is made of dyed plant fibre. The doll has rows of beaded necklaces (two are yellow, six red and five orange); beaded belt with seeds and a metal bangle at each foot.Dolls are generally used in the communit as child's play items as well as for fertility impulses.'
