Context (Production / use)
This hat is worn on formal occasions. 'Janjin' means general or commander. This style of hat first became popular after the leader of the People's Revolution of Mongolia, Sukhbaatar, wore it.

Description (Physical description)
Round hat built up of six segments with a gold conical protrusion in the center, topped by a blue pompon. The main boy of the had is blue with silver and green details. The seams of each section are decorated with a green, gold and red ribbon. Along the brim of the hat semi-circular black flaps with gold trimmings are folded upwards.
