Description
Hat woven from dyed pito (coconut fibre) of various colours of red, orange, pink, yellow, green, blue, purple and white. At the top of the crown is an oval shaped piece of pinctada margaritifera shell (pearl oyster) with 19 drilled holes around the circumference. The strands of fibre are threaded through these holes.
