Description
Woven mat made by Janice Paul (2003) from Musqueam First Nation in Vancouver. Woven in three three colours: white, light grey and dark brown. Geometric patterns consisting of triangles, lozenges and squares form the central part of the piece which is framed by concentric grey and dark brown lozenges. The top and bottom part have broader dark brown and white stripes. Both the short edges end in loop-like dark brown fringes.
