Description

Basket - Small tightly woven basket of bamboo (pisah). Main body design is based on the paku (a curly jungle fern), interspersed with mata puni (pigeon’s eye). Roris (horizontal arrows) trimmings. Motifs circling the top are pijek ginta (a softwood tree); motifs circling the bottom are keja mabi (centipede’s leg). Rupet (folded inwards) rim.
