Description
Basket - Medium-sized tightly woven basket, made of rattan (wi), sugar palm frond fibre (nuat) and stripped bark (bayuh). With bark strap. Has dark decorative strips (ronen). Upper third of the basket is lighter and has a finer weave than the bottom. Slight roris ? pattern at the base. Koro kadis (grasshopper legs) rim – simpler than simu rim. Vertical weave.
