Description
Basket - Large tightly woven basket of rattan (wi), raffia string and plastic cord Has dark decorative strips (ronen), which intersect with lighter uncoloured strips (tiron) to form roris (diagonal lines) and boton puni (pigeon’s eye) patterns. Upper third of the basket is lighter and has a finer weave than the bottom. Simu / Se’et sang rim. Vertical weave.
