Context (Amendments / updates)
There has been some historic confusion regarding the quantity of the earrings and bangles which form the object accession number and record: '2005.663'. In 2008, it seems that a description was given based upon the bracelets and earrings when tied together in a bundle, resulting misidentification of the earrings and overall recorded number of objects. In 2015, the record was corrected to reflect that four earrings [A-D] and 17 bangles [E-U] are present. In 2023, it was decided that the record '2005.663' should be split into three records as follows, so as to account for each element more easily:
2005.663.A-D: Metal Earrings.
2005.663.E-F: Twisted copper alloy or brass bangles.
2005.663.G-U: Grey iron alloy bangles.
