Collected by Dr Sander Ernst van der Leeuw between July and August 1991. Pottery from following villages have been studied in the region of Michoacan: Capula, Tzintzuntzan, Colonia Lazaro Cardenas, Santa Fé de Laguna, Huancito, Patamban and San José de Gracia. The number TZIN-91/9 most certainly refers to the village Tzintzuntzan.
