Light brown, leaf-shaped dish. The outer surface has deep grooves starting from the midrib and running to the edges of the dish. The inner part is very coarse. The dish is very thick.

Collected by Dr Sander Ernst van der Leeuw between July and August 1991. Pottery from following villages have been studied in the region of Michoacan: Capula, Tzintzuntzan, Colonia Lazaro Cardenas, Santa Fé de Laguna, Huancito, Patamban and San José de Gracia. The number TZI-91/11 most certainly refers to the village Tzintzuntzan.
