Context (Field collection)
Collected by Dr Sander Ernst van der Leeuw between July and August 1991. Pottery from following villages have been studied in the region of Michoacan: Capula, Tzintzuntzan, Colonia Lazaro Cardenas, Santa Fé de Laguna, Huancito, Patamban and San José de Gracia. Another similar cup is part of MAA's Teaching Collection.

Description (Physical description)
Glazed cup with floral design in lighter green against a darker green background. Near the rim and near the bottom of cup there are alternating dark and light green stripes. The inside of the cup is glazed in brown. There is a fault in the green glazing and in the handle.
