The figure is facing the left and is wearing an elaborate costume and headdress. Signed and dated in the bottom right hand corner '73.'

Batik cloth decorated with a wayang kulit or shadow puppet figure. Rectangular cloth with a Rakshasa figure stanging facing left and wearing an elaborate headdress and clothing; brown background with motif in yellow, white and blue; small zoomorphic figures, possibly serpents at ankles, arms and waist; signed and dated 1973 in bottom right corner.
