Batik cloth. Design in black, white, brown and yellow. The bird of paradise design contains two birds with long tail feathers against a floral background. On the back two strips of fabric have been sewn onto the edges to mount the cloth.

Description (Physical description)
A long rectangular batik cloth of cream cotton with brown, gold and dark blue designs. The centre has a cream background with a curvilinear pattern in brown, and foliate designs with birds, framed by a floral border. The two ends have have a band of floral pattern in-between two stripes of triangles, curvilinear and geometric motifs, and curvilinear and floral motifs. Two strips of cream cotton have been sewn onto the reverse short edges for mounting.
