Description
Slendang; Parang rusak. Batik sash of cream cotton with parang rusak design, used for carrying. Long rectangle of cloth, hemmed at both short ends; central geometric design of cream ovals and circles outlined in blue and brown; the two ends are dark blue with bands of curvilinear floral linear pattern in brown on dark blue and cream triangles surrounded by floral and geometric pattern in brown; rectangle of white cotton sewn along the back of both short edges but open at the side, presumably for suspension.

Batik cloth. ‘Parang rusak’ design in white, brown, black and blue. Central design of white shapes in an abstract repeat pattern. Two triangular patterned borders on each end. Two strips of cloth sewn onto the back of the cloth to hang it up.
