Handmade in Nepal as part of the Association for Craft Producers which supports disadvantaged craft producers, especially women. Bought from Dhukuti Retail outlet.

Description (Physical description)
Woven scarf in brown, off-white, yellow and turquoise. Geometric repeat pattern of interlocking twelve-sided shapes. Fringed ends. A cloth label reading “Association for Craft Producers” is sewn to the cloth. A card label headed “Association for Craft Producers 1984 Dhukuti Handmade in Nepal” is attached to the cloth. This label gives further details and addresses for the Association. Another card label is also attached, reading “Dhukuti Retail outlet” and giving the size and price of the cloth.

Dhaka scarf with geometric motifs in red, yellow, cream and turquoise. Woven rectangular scarf with a short fringe at either end; diagonal arrangement of repeating, interlocking shapes; orange warp.
