Description
Choker necklace, made of silver chain fasthening with a hook and eye and terminating in a traingular silver piece with granulation decoration. These triangular pieces connect to three strands of bright orange beading, possibly coral, connecting to a central square pendant. The pendant is set with a dark coloured glass gem and from the base hangs three loops with two small silver balls.

(bio): Mrs. Barbara Spalding. Mrs. Spalding and her husband Michael worked as English teachers in Taiz, Yemen, from 1997-98 during which time she collected silver and talked to the men in the market silver shops.

Choker-style necklace comprised of the following elements: three rows of red ?coral beads; a square, silver, filigreed ornament with three jingles and a black stone in the centre; two triangular filigreed ornaments, one at each end of the strings of beads. The necklace is fastened by a hook and eye on lengths of silver chain.
