Description
Silver finger-ring with large central blue stone carbochon (possibly lapis lazuli), with three smaller brown and orange stones (possibly glass or amber) on one side and two on the other. The settings are wrapped in a wire thread twisted to resemble rope. There is a third empty setting on the side with two smaller stones suggesting that one stone is missing. Inside the band is the stamped number ‘925'.

(bio): Mrs. Barbara Spalding. Mrs. Spalding and her husband Michael worked as English teachers in Taiz, Yemen, from 1997-98 during which time she collected silver and talked to the men in the market silver shops.
