Description

Silver box in the shape of a tear-drop, with lid attached by a chain. Both the box and the lid are covered in filigree, the body more heavily so. The main pattern on the box is a repeating pattern of figures of eight, made from twisted wire, with small circles in each end and outside the central meeting point of the ‘8’. The lid is dominated by a simple flower-like shape outlined by twisted wire, with ‘petals’ meeting at a silver boss in the centre.
