Description
A certificate for a person awarded the Worker-Peasant Power Memorial Medal on 20 August 1957, for assisting in putting down the Counter Revolution of 1956. It is made of heavy beige paper, printed with black text, with the emblem of the Hungarian People's Republic in the background; this consists of a Hungarian flag with a star above, surrounded by a wreath of wheat wrapped in ribbon tied in a bow at the bottom. This emblem is also embossed into the paper lower down, below which the recipient's name has been typed.
