Description
Two Socialist Brigade medals (A-B) attached to a cardboard mount covered in shiny white fabric (C). Both medals are made from gold metal, and feature an emblem consisting of a red flag with the Hungarian flag in the middle surrounded by the words 'Szocialista Brigad' in gold. The red flag has a red star above, and is surrounded by a gold wreath. Both medals have a pin-badge fastening on the back. The larger medal is 28mm in diameter (A) and the smaller is only 17mm in diameter (B); other than the difference in size they are identical.

Czegledy’s note accompanying brooch: ‘Julianna Mornorni’s father = munkissor see visit in July/August 1997 - his medal’. Czegledy notes that these medals belonged to the same man as the cap and uniform in the Czegledy collection.
