Context (Analysis)
Of the three ranks of Work Medal (bronze, silver and gold), the Andre Czegledy collection only has documentation for two of ranks for the recipient of the medal with the accession number 2003.142 A. However, as one of the medals is of gold rank, it can be assumed that the bronze was also awarded to the recipient. The bronze rank work medal, along with its accompanying documentation, is not represented in the collection.

Description (Physical description)
Outstanding Work Medal [A] awarded to a man in March 1987, in a red plastic presentation box [B]. A: Enamelled copper alloy medal in the form of a five-pointed star, with a red background, a raised green wreath with the emblem of the Hungarian People's Republic, and a white banner reading 'KIVÁLÓ MUNKÁÉRT'. Attached to the top is a triangular ribbon of red silk with white and green stripes. A circular badge with a cup and snake emblem is pinned through the ribbon. B: Red plastic box, with white mesh lining in the lid and red velvet lining in the base. Aladdin sticker on the box lid, reading '1987.III.lió'.
