Description
Two Work Merit Medals of Gold Rank (A-B) in a presentation box (C), awarded on 20th of November 1968. The larger medal (A) has a red enamelled star in the middle, surrounded by a oval wreath of wheat. At the bottom there is a Hungarian flag ribbon tied in a bow, with two gold metal tools crossed over the top. The medallion hangs from a red and pink striped ribbon that has been folded into a triangle shape. The medallion of the other medal (B) is the same but smaller, and it has a pin on the back that connects it to a ribbon, folded into a small rectangle. The two medals sit inside depressions in the white fabric mount in the presentation box (C). The box is rectangular, with a red plastic cover, a hinged lid, and a metal clasp.
