Context (Other owners)
The book was a part of a larger collection of state socialist artifacts collected by Stephen F. Kostyal, an executive manager, later Managing director, later owner of Ganz-Hunslet Rt, a rolling stock producer whose main parent company was Ganz-MAVAG, one of the major socialist conglomerates in the heavy engineering fields of production in Hungary. The original collection was drawn from items collected by Mr. Kostyal as well as a range of artifacts given to him by employees in the company. This book was given by Lajos Toth to Mr. Kostyal. The employees of Ganz-Hunslet dubbed Kostyal’s collection the Stephen F. Kostyal Museum. By the time of sourcing, however, a small percentage of the 'Museum collections' remained - most having been disposed of after Mr. Kostyal departure from the company. The artifact was donated by Stephen F. Kostyal. Sourced in July 2002.

Context (Production / use)
This is a book by Lenin published in both Moscow (then USSR) and Stockholm (Sweden). This edition is in the Swedish language; however, on one of the first pages there is a note to readers asking for feedback on the translation, and it gives a Russian address to contact the publisher. It is hard to know whether this book was made in Sweden or Russia, so both have been speculatively added to the production field.
