This is a gold medal from the 1968 corporate games at G-M. Text notes: For winning, in the Ganz-MAVAG workplace competition 'SE stands for Sport Egyesulet' or sports association. The larger companies under state socialism, and particularly the industrial conglomerates like G-M which generally possessed their own sports facilities (including stadia in some cases), amateur (sometimes even professional) sports teams, frequently hosted corporate sports events modelled on the Olympic analogy. Produced for Ganz-MAVAG corporation and its annual sports games.

Description (Physical description)
Rectangular medal of gold-plated metal, from the 1968 Ganz-Mavag Corporation annual sports games. The obverse has the crest for the Ganz-Mavag corporation sports association, with 'SE 1910'. Below the crest is the inscription 'GYÖZELEMÉRT A GANZ-MÁVAG MUNKAHELYI VERSENYEIN 1968'. The reverse is plain.
