Context (Production / use)
This small paper flag depicts the symbol and title of the National Union of Hungarian [Trade] Unions, the umbrella organisation for trade unions in Hungary during the state socialist period. Since the end of the socialist era, this association has disbanded. Flags of this sort were commonly distributed to participants at public ceremonies and, particularly, for the occasion of MAYDAY parades, etc.
