Description (Labels & Markings)
Two labels were found with the bundle of 25 arrows recorded as 1941.36. A round label with metallic rim reads: '41.36 / COOTE / COLL'. Another similar label reads: 'ARROWS / Coote Collection [and added later in pencil:] SOLOMONS' on one side and 'Handle gently [and added later in pencil] DUPLICATES' on other other.

Description (Physical description)
One of a bundle of 26 arrows. The shaft is of bamboo. The head is of wood onto which some barbs of bone have been tied on with plant fibre. Only two of the barbs are still attached. Below the head, there is a section of finely woven plant fibre in dark colour and yellow.
