Description

Fishhook of turtle-shell in one piece, wrapped in red cloth and decorated with an oval piece of mother-of-pearl at the back. Cloth and shell are tied to the shank with two thin strips of plant fibre. The top of the shank is carved with a knob to facilitate attachment of a snood or line.
