Description
Bamboo lime container. Incised patterns in black, one of them possibly representing an areca palm. The box contains dark red powder (with bits) which may be ground areca nut (still fragrant). The lid and box have bases covered in parinarium nut paste. The lid is inlaid with a serrated disc of pearl shell.
