Maroon red knotted sash consisting of a deep loop gathered in a knotted cuff, remaining sash falling as 2 long extensions finished by long tassels.

Description (Physical description)
Sabretache. Dark red sash with tassels; rectangular length of woven fibre held together in the centre by a stiffened cylindrical bead of the same fibre; ends gathered with long fringes of twisted fibre. Thought to be the sash of the 16th Punjab Regiment; probably used with leather satchel 2010.362.
